The State of Tennessee is ranked 50th in the nation in provision of home and community-based care and has critical need for adult day services facilities (adult daycare).

The cost of adult day services is about one-third the cost of nursing home care. More than 7 out of 10 people with Alzheimer's disease live at home. Almost 75% of the home care is provided by family and friends. One in 4 family caregivers die before the individual with Alzheimer's disease. The emotional, physical and financial stress that caregivers endure plays a major role in their deteriorating health. The Elders First Adult Day Services Association's Board of Directors asks you to join the effort to cover the costs of program operation. Through your contribution a difference will continue to be felt in many homes and hearts in Rutherford County. Elders First is registered with the State of Tennessee Office of Solicitations, and is an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
